Bass Clarinet: Selmer Low Eb Flute: Yamaha 681 Series Gold/Brass with a Yamaha K headjoint Alto Flute: Armstrong w/solid silver headjoint Penny Whistle: Sasuto w/adjustable headjoint EFFECTS: The gear Jeff uses with DMB is a little more in depth than this but here is a run down of the gear Jeff uses on his solo tours and with Bela Fleck & the Flecktones...He uses DPA mics that go directly into a Blue Tube pre amp and then into a Shure wireless. From the wireless receiver his signal is fed into an ElectroHarmonix Q-Tron envelope filter (this is the source of the 'wah' effect). Out of the Q-Tron the signal goes to his Eventide Eclipse, which he uses for various effects such as harmonizers, etc... The stereo output of the Eventide is where we get his 'final signal' for the soundboard. A midibuddy step thru triggers different channels of programs.This is basically the chain with some now and then alterations.
